The ENVIROMETHODS, Inc. Delta T series of tile heating units (patent pending) utilize efficient infrared panels to warm floor tiles to a temperature at which they become pliable and can be peeled from the floor by employing a putty knife or other scraping tool. The tile can usually be lifted intact and placed into a container for disposal.

This clean, quiet process eliminates labor-intensive hand chipping and minimizes generation of airborne particulates. It also avoids the mess resulting from flooding of an area with water or other materials. The units can be used for removal of tile from a variety of underlying materials, including concrete and wood.
